Computer-Based Instruction.

Money Smart Computer-Based Instruction provides financial education for Adults and Young Adults. The training covers topics such as the basics of borrowing money wisely, using a spending plan to achieve financial goals, and how to use banking products effectively.

Having trouble logging in?

  • Make sure you have created an account. If you have not, register now.
  • If you have forgotten your password, enter the email address you used to register in the login box and click the Reset Password button. We will send you an email to help. If you don't receive an email shortly, check your spam filter.
  • As of January 19, 2017, the Money Smart CBI has been updated to enhance functionality and user experience, and to enable compatibility with tablet computers. The course content of the adult and young adult courses remains the same. As a result of this upgrade, users will need to create new accounts to continue completing Money Smart CBI modules. Once you have created a new account, you can submit a helpdesk ticket if you have any further questions. You should receive a response to your helpdesk ticket within 2 business days.

Safeguarding your password.

  • Never give your password to anyone.
  • Make sure your password is something you can remember.
  • Make sure your password is difficult for others to guess.

Your password must contain...

  • At least 8 characters.
  • No more than 16 characters.
  • And contain at least 3 of the following:
  • UPPER case letters.
  • lower case letters.
  • Numbers.
  • Symbols.


The Money Smart Computer-Based Instruction consists of interactive modules that offer instruction to help people make informed financial decisions and take charge of their finances.

Anyone, however it is designed specifically for two age groups:

  • Young Adults (students between the ages of 13 and 21) and
  • Adults (students over 21)

A. Reference Materials can be viewed or downloaded from the Info Booth page. All Reference Materials and Certificates of Completion are PDF files and require Adobe Acrobat reader to view. The software is available for free and can be downloaded from the following site:

Q. Do I need a special computer to use the Money Smart Computer Based Training?
A. The training is designed to be accessible from Windows and Mac desktops and laptops, as well as tablets running the iOS and Android operating systems. Most modern browsers including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer should function well. The minimum browser versions required to use the course are:

  • Firefox 47 or higher
  • Google Chrome 49 or higher
  • Internet Explorer 10 or higher
  • Safari 8 or higher
